National Success: Rockliffe Manor Honoured for Outstanding Pupil Achievement

We’re proud to announce that we have been recognised by the UK Government for the outstanding achievement of our disadvantaged pupils.
On Friday 23rd January, Rockliffe Manor was honoured to receive a letter from the Rt Hon Bridget Phillipson, Secretary of State for Education, acknowledging and celebrating the outstanding achievements of our disadvantaged pupils at the end of the 2024/25 academic year.
This is such an affirming moment for Rockliffe Manor. We work actively to ensure that no child is left behind. We believe every child deserves a brilliant education, and we remain steadfast in our mission to provide exactly that. This recognition reflects what we know to be true: our school is a forward-thinking environment where all children are given the opportunity to succeed, learn and grow together.
The letter reads, “This success reflects the dedication of your staff and the hard work of your pupils. It shows what can be achieved when ambition and commitment come together….. Your school’s achievement demonstrates what is possible.”
Each pupil benefits from a rich, inclusive curriculum, high-quality teaching, diverse enrichment opportunities and a nurturing learning environment to ensure that all our pupils enjoy primary school and leave us as confident learners.
Nancy Cook, Headteacher at Rockliffe Manor, said: "Seeing our pupils recognised on a national level is wonderful, but the real reward is seeing their confidence grow every single day. This recognition is a testament to the fact that when you combine a nurturing environment with high expectations, children thrive. This achievement belongs to our entire school community. As teachers, we are dedicated to ensuring our curriculum is inclusive and exciting, but it’s the pupils who bring that learning to life with their energy and dedication. We strive to create an environment where every child feels they can achieve anything they set their mind to and this letter proves that they are doing exactly that. I couldn't be prouder of their hard work.”
