Year 2 have had a lovely week this week engaging in their learning across the curriculum. In English, the children are absolutely loving their new core text, ‘Angus Rides the Goods Train’. They have been exploring the key themes in the story as well as generating descriptive vocabulary to describe a setting. In addition, in science the children are fascinated by their investigation to enquire which liquid will dissolve the egg shell and which one won’t. Overall, it has been a very busy week and the children are enjoying being back in school!

 Albi T explained that, “This book is about kindness because Angus helped the bear by giving him honey.”
