Festive Week School Dinner Menu 2020

We are delighted to share with you attached, a fantastically festive week of School Dinners for our last week of term Monday 14th – Friday 18th December 2020.

There will be a hot freshly cooked school meal offered each day, designed by our catering company, Chartwells.  On Wednesday 16th December, our team will be preparing a full Christmas Roast dinner, complete with Christmas crackers, served by our meal supervisor elves!

All children that usually take School Dinner will automatically receive the menu as usual, however if your child usually has a packed lunch, please complete the form below, by the latest Friday 4th December, if you would like your child to enjoy one, or all of the menu choices.  Each meal will cost the usual price of £2.15 per child per day and is payable under School Dinner payment option in your ParentPay account.  *if you require assistance setting up your parent Pay account, please contact the school office.

School Closure - Friday 18th December 2020

Following the announcement from the Government and Department for Education with regards to school closures for Christmas, please be informed that we are going to use Friday 18th December as an INSET day, and as a result of this all Inspire Partnership Schools will be closed.  The autumn term will officially end on Thursday 17th December 2020.     This decision takes into account the DfE recommendation that schools provide “six clear days” to manage any track and trace communication before Christmas Eve, as well as giving both pupil and staff families an extra day to isolate ahead of the period of relaxed restrictions over the Christmas holiday.    If your child tests positive up until the 23rd of December, please let us know by emailing info@rockliffemanor.greenwich.sch.uk. After the 23rd of December, it is the responsibility of parents to work with NHS track and trace if a child tests positive for Covid-19:     Where a pupil or staff member tests positive for coronavirus (COVID-19), having developed symptoms more than 48 hours since being in school, the school should not be contacted. Parents and carers should follow contact tracing instructions provided by NHS Test and Trace.    All children should return to school on Monday 4th January 2021 when a full and normal timetable will resume. If your child is self-isolating during the holiday period and will miss the start of school, please call the school office on the first day back after the break.  Thank you for your support and co-operation through what has been a different and challenging term.
