Y3 Tate Photo Project

This year, every Year 3 class across London has been invited to take part in a very special learning project led by globally renowned artist, Steve McQueen, with the Tate gallery, Artangel and the educational charity A New Direction.

As part of this project, a photographer from the Tate came to school today to take a group photo of our Year 3 class. This photo will appear among thousands of others in a vast exhibition at the prestigious Tate Britain in one of the largest group portraits ever made.

This free public exhibition will be open from November 2019 until May 2020 and we hope many of you will have the opportunity to visit!

Our school is delighted to be a part of this project and is excited about seeing our Year 3 class photograph become part of one of the most compelling British artworks of our time.
