Y3 Trip - The Natural History Museum
Today our Year 3 class travelled in to central London to visit The Natural History Museum. At the museum they took part in a fun and interactive 'Cutting Edge' workshop where they investigated how teeth are related to diet. They learnt all about the names, shapes, positions and functions of different human and animal teeth and were able to examine and compare a variety of mammal skulls (including real ones) to predict different animals diets. They also compared mammals' teeth to dinosaurs' teeth and made predictions on dinosaur diets based on what they observed.
