Posted on: 15/03/2019Y3 Trip - Foxfield Careers FairToday our Year 3 class visited their friends at our partner school Foxfield to take part in a careers fair. There were a variety of jobs on display including a tree surgeon, an optician, mortgage broker and professional women's footballers. Year 3 had a fantastic experience and learnt so much about future careers in just one morning. Thank you Foxfield!

The session was all about having fun and adventure and it was lovely to see the children helping and encouraging each other, demonstrating our school values of kindness and cooperation.

Posted on: 16/11/2018Reception Trip - The Stick ManTo support their learning this term our Reception class visited the Leicester Square Theatre to see a production of Julia Donaldson's 'Stick Man'. Along with their friends from Foxfield school they travelled up to central London on the train, passing some very famous landmarks along the way. The performance was fantastic and the children all had a really great time. What a wonderful experience!

Again linking in with their topic of water, this trip enabled them to further their knowledge of where our water comes from and how it is cleaned.
Posted on: 02/11/2018Year 4 Trip - Motivational Speaker @ FoxfieldToday our Year 4 class joined their friends at Foxfield Primary for a talk with motivational speaker Musharaf Ashgar. Musharaf inspired us all by telling us about his journey to overcome a speech impediment. A true testament to a growth mindset attitude!

They have been looking at water consumption, sanitation, contamination and the impact of having, or not having, access to clean water. They also thought about and discussed where London gets its water from.
