Instead of just learning about plastic pollution they wanted to take action and spent the day fishing plastic from the river Thames. Thank you Year 3! #changemakers
Posted on: 22/01/2020Y3 Trip - Chislehurst CavesToday our Year 3 class visited Chislehurst Caves. The children really enjoyed their cave tour and learnt lots of interesting information to support this half terms science learning on rocks and soils. Year 3 also enjoyed learning a bit about the fascinating history of the caves and although the caves were dark and creepy all had a fantastic time.
Posted on: 25/11/2019JLT Mayors Office VisitToday our JLT had the privilege of visiting the Mayor of Greenwich, Mick Hayes, at his office at the Town Hall in Woolwich. They were treated to a grand tour of the council chambers and also got to speak to Mayor Hayes about his leadership journey and how he became a mayor. It was also great to get his views on some of the topics we have been learning about in school through our Global Curriculum.
Posted on: 22/11/2019Y1 Zoo Lab Workshop @ FoxfieldYear 1 visited their friends at Foxfield Primary today to take part in a joint animal workshop hosted by Zoo Lab. They had an amazing time meeting the animals and learning many interesting facts about them. We have been inspired to learn even more about animals and will be doing this during our science lessons!

They had the chance to look at all the exciting and interesting Roman artefacts they have been learning about this term and also took part in a workshop exploring exactly "How Roman was Roman Britain".
Posted on: 04/07/2019Reception & Y1 Broadstairs Beach TripReception and Year One had a wonderful time at Broadstairs beach today. The sun was shining and the children all had fun paddling in the sea, crab hunting, building sandcastles and chasing away those pesky seagulls! It will be an experience they will remember for a very long time!
Posted on: 11/06/2019Y5 Trip - Brixton Soup KitchenToday our Year 5 class visited Brixton Soup Kitchen to further explore their global theme of Social Justice and Equity. Year 5 had the opportunity to organise donations and meet the volunteers, reflecting on how they support their local community. We were very inspired by their compassion and commitment!
Posted on: 07/05/2019Y3/4 Author Workshop @ FoxfieldToday our Years 3 and 4 classes joined their friends at Foxfield for a workshop and presentation with author and illustrator Paul Geraghty. They loved the Dinosaur Danger theme and learning about how they can make their experience count. Paul Geraghty is also the author of their core texts this half term.

Year 3 built bridges, drainage systems, fat collectors and learnt more about clean water and sanitation. Future civil engineers?
