Posted on: 02/02/2018Y4 Trip - Cutty SarkTo link with their core text, ‘The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane’ by Kate Dicamillo, our Year 4 class visited the ship, the Cutty Sark. They took part in an informative 'Ships, Maps and Trade' workshop where they studied maps and learnt all about how journeys and trade connect the world. They also learnt about what life was like for sailors aboard the Cutty Sark by role playing some key characters from the ships past. They then had lots of fun exploring the rest of the Cutty Sark's hull before heading back to school.
