As part of their RE learning this term, today our Year 1 class visited The Slade Evangelical Church. The members of the church taught us all about the Christmas story in an interesting and interactive session. Thank you Slade Church!

Maths Open Morning

Following the success of our previous open mornings today we welcomed KS2 parents and carers into classrooms to join their children for a maths lesson. Focusing on calculation and the four operations, children and parents were engaged in a range of mathematical investigations from a murder mystery to furnishing a house for their teacher. It was a fantastic morning of great collaboration and calculations!

Reception - Police Officer Visit

Linked to their topic on fairness and rights, today our Reception class welcomed some very special visitors - two police officers. The officers told us all about being in the police and how they keep people safe. They also showed us some of their equipment, let us try on their hats and even let us turn on the sirens in their police car!
